Our team is made up of experienced nurses, estheticians, laser technicians, and wellness professionals who share one goal: helping you feel confident, comfortable, and cared for every time you walk through our doors. Led by founder Wendy Banks, R.N., our providers bring years of clinical training, advanced certifications, and hands-on experience in aesthetic medicine and skincare. But just as important as expertise is the way we care for our patients.

Many members of our team have worked together for years, and many of our patients have trusted us with their skin for just as long. Wendy Banks, R.N.
Wendy Banks, R.N. is the founder and visionary behind Purple Pearl Med Spa. With more than two decades of experience in healthcare and aesthetics, she is known for her thoughtful approach, clinical expertise, and commitment to natural-looking results. Wendy’s passion for skincare began long before Purple Pearl existed. After struggling with acne and skin concerns herself, she became deeply interested in learning how treatments, ingredients, and aesthetic procedures could help people feel more confident in their skin.
She pursued training in aesthetics before completing nursing school and eventually worked alongside a reconstructive plastic surgeon, where she helped build an aesthetic practice within a medical setting. Over time, Wendy developed a loyal patient base built on trust, education, and results.
In 2017, she opened Purple Pearl Med Spa in downtown New Albany, creating the welcoming, relationship-driven practice she had always envisioned. Today, Wendy continues to lead the practice while providing advanced injectable treatments and guiding the team’s commitment to thoughtful, personalized care.
